Depends on what you define as near. Route was right out of the factory, second right past a school to T junc. TR onto A356? - the road I came into Crewkerne on off the A30 - go about 4 miles and turn round, back towards Crewkerne and at some point TL onto a narrow country lane which brings you back to the Yeovil road - the first junction on your right if you turn right out of the factory.
I love them being a rubbish biker this would suit me down to the ground but i'm way too tight, my bike only cost £7k for similar straight line performance though i do not doubt for a half a millisecond this would destroy any lap time i could set on a track

The thing is that they are ridiculously expensive for what you get IMHO.
16" wheels are a tad daft too because they are such an awkward size for tyres (as in expensive).
How did you find the tendency to spin the rear wheels going straight?

I shouldn't think the 16" are any more expensive to source tyres for than the standard 15" rims.
On a dry road I found no tendency at all to spin the wheels either in a straight line or round the corners. As I said the car has massive mechanical grip. On a wet or damp road considerable discretion would be required, but that's something I'm entirely familiar with.
16's are more expensive than 15s. 30% more expensive!
Yeah, I figured as much. I spoke to someone who drove one who was telling me they were getting wheelspin in the first 3 gears where as my Westfield doesn't wheelspin at all in a straight line and that has a 50/50 weight distribution, not a rear heavy one.

Well I've always liked the looks, and was looking for a car equivalent of a bike..but I couldn't care less what image it projects to anyone else.
Just checked on the tyre price - you're right! But if the difference for a full set amounts to around £150, I can live with that.
I imagine you can wheelspin it if you so desire. Perhaps its my bike experience but rear wheel spinning I try to avoid.
