Car triangle:

Cheap - Fast - Reliable

Pick 2 of the above, sir, because you will never have all 3!

I had an Evo 7, cracking car, BUT i got bored of it fast. The grip is just too good, makes it boring to drive because there is no sense of danger. I used to do SILLY things in that car and it would always pull me out of trouble and make me look like a boss. Fun at first but I ended up feeling like I was "cheating" so went back to sketchy RWD cars instead

Hairpin at 70mph, you'd get a shit ton of understeer in standard form. Unless you gave it some handbrake

I did an Andy Walsh airfield day, track made up of lots of tight cones, lots of understeer was a bit disapointed with it. Much better on the sweeping bends. 100mph powerslides are funny.

I'm sure with different geo/suspension you could make it more tail happy...

Although, when it snowed, that was probably the most fun I've ever had with a car in my life so far!

I remember similar with an STi on a trackday.

There was a guy in a Pinto-engined Seven-style kit car and my S2000 and you couldn't get a fag paper between us - it was one of those enjoyable duels, where seemingly both cars & drivers were of almost identical abilities. This STi creeps up behind & starts playing too. Until the first hairpin; we flick though & he goes straight through the cones. It was quite funny in my rear views...

Not of any use to the topic starter's car hunt but I say the s2k fits all 3 nowadays
