Default Those camera vans - NIP'd

Do they get you going away from them, or towards, or both?

So one stopped off the side of the road. Then me coming from the opposite direction at about 85 having just overtaken two lorries and a people carrier, so the van would have got the back of me going away.

I saw it too: saw the words "Warwickshire Police" on the back and it just didn't register and I didn't slow down.

Fingers crossed Dembo, they're really popular round here but I've never seen one get you from behind. I've been had twice from head on mind you. Though they couldn't confirm who was actually driving either of the times...

I asked for the photo just to be difficult and you could see it was me grinning behind the wheel

They normally look to front to identify the driver, no point else.

Wait and see then I guess. Is there a "it was my birthday" defence?

I was certain I was flashed by one of the M25 cameras early in the year, but never heard anything there.

Bollocks. Just got the letter.

They got me at 71 (in a 60). Can't really complain I suppose.

No. Camera van on the A5 in Northants (not Warwickshire).

In future I shall be overtaking slowly, and therefore more dangerously, in order to comply with the law.
