It has a lot of things similar to the S2000 engine, so probably!

It's a very interesting article - a project led by Messrs. Bird and Heaven ought to produce a very fine engine indeed!

The return to a cast-iron block is interesting; with modern thin-wall casting techniques, it needn't be any heavier than aluminium. Acoustically, many prefer the less 'tinny' sound that iron produces.

Interesting too that Valvetronic is deemed unsuitable for the engine. And the turbo variants, too. Maybe it explains why A-VTEC has not materialised as Honda promised.
