Exactly that, you can enjoy it without going nuts.

Yep those 3 things and the cool factor tick all the boxes

Cheers CC! Sorry to keep you in the dark so long, I wanted to ensure the Porker funds went through before I mentioned it, just in case!

Wonderful choice Mark, well done. I wondered if you'd be going Aston.

Will you be bringing the V12 (assuming you still have it) to any races? I guess not - it's not really a tow car - but sounds a diamond. By the time you get to half my age you will have owned every car to die for.

What next?

Wasn't mikey k's modified though?
It was after we fixed all the issues it came out the factory with
It had a GT4 race spec 5.0 V8 in it for a while after, that was also a bit of a PITA

Mark enjoy!
They are an epic car and sound great
DON'T use ASM3 like an auto, it sucks in full auto, ALWAYS use the paddles and a slight lift on upshifts helps
Which tyres has it go on?
DON'T wash the ceramics with any aggressive chemicals and make sure you dry them off well, a few owners have had them start disintegrating.
The light weight seats work well with ASM boxes, did you get those?
Did you move the Aston on, Mikey?

Good tips. I was told similar from the dealership and when I drove it I was surprised at the auto mode. I found it fine to be honest. Also using the paddles is actually enjoyable as you feel what's going on. With the M3, the shifts were so good you didn't really feel it. The Sportshift really suits the car,

Sports seats in mine rather than the lightweight ones (see vid above) which is what I wanted. They do look great but maybe due to being late 30s now I like the idea of a more comfortable spec
[/quote]

Did the same as I did with the SC S2000 put it back to stock and sold it on
I have an Aston trickle charger you can have FOC if you ping me your address (you WILL need one )
Many that have the light weights say they are more comfortable, I certainly did, no heaters though
Oh and get that exhaust valve fuse pulled

It's a node to the racing car colour schemes
Shame they called it a "lipstick" scheme

ETA a few moretips
Get the gearbox oil dropped, inspected and changed annually, they removed the air/oil cooler on the S's so if you use it hard the oil struggles to cool (don't ask how I know )
Always reverse in to parking spaces, that CF front lip has a magnetic attraction to kerbs and is £2.5 to replace
Get this guy to machine polish & detail it

http://www.emerald-detailing.com/Home/

He is well known in the Aston owners circles, did my McLaren and vastly improves the factory finish!

Yep £2.5 supply only for the CF section of the front bumper
Mark won't have a knob hence the lipstick remains around his grill
