Well PCP is 26 MTHS at 0%. Less my car plus their 500 contribution... Comes out a shade under 340 a month.

At the end of that 26 months the outstanding lump is about 16.5k.

A 2 year old car with a 1 year used warranty is on the forecourt for 22k.

So I can buy my own car for 16.5k in 2 years time or buy one that someone else has ragged for 22k now. And with current HP / bank interest rates that's nearer 400 a month.

Bearing in mind I need to sell my current car either way, the PCP is a no brainer as it gives interest rates a couple of years to settle and I'll be saving money each month to throw at paying a chunk of that outstanding lump off at month 27 to make that final lump even more appealing.

Never found it comparable even if you factor in some opportunity cost of the money you put into it

Back OT it's not a stunner but my neighbour who is a dealer (not ford) recommended it to me, he borrowed one for a bit

it's a solid swap for sure

Aye that's the point. I want out of the ST. I don't want to deal with people. The Puma is a nice drive. It's not a barge. It's nice to sit in. It fits in parking spaces and on the roads I drive on. 3 years / 60k mileage warranty. Every gizmo fitted and covered by that warranty. There isn't another thing I fancy that has a deal anywhere near this good. They all want 30% deposit minimum to get the good deals.

All I have to do is fuel it.

In the meantime I'll get the Sol tidied up and decide where that goes over the next 12 months.
