Default Today i bought ....

A Fiesta ST3. 14 plate. Frost white. Every extra fitted.

First turbo petrol car and is the replacement for the Aygo and ultimately the S2000.

Got rid of the Aygo through We Buy Any Car - as a zero hassle option, it fulfilled its purpose. Car went for £700 more than trade in price and maybe a couple of hundred less than a private sale BUT i've had to deal with no adverts and NO punters. for £200 and a cheque that won't bounce and without an eBay fee, truly excellent. If you are realistic about the price you expect, you just cannot beat them.

Interior is lovely, proper bucket seats and doesn't rattle. Auto lights / wipers / dimming rear mirror / auto folding mirrors. Integrated Bluetooth / audio and Nav and because it's built well, it doesn't need a sub to get bass response. Red Illuminated stuff inside ( inner chav loves this ) and whilst the ride is firm, it's actually fairly compliant and crucially on motorways, it doesn't pitch or bounce. Gearbox is a peach. Can get 40+mpg on a run ( tested last night ) and with a smidge under 200bhp, goes really well when you step on it. Most of all, it has character and is fun and for the south side of £10k .... i don't think there is much to beat it. There was some comments about seats / lumbar support, seems i'm the right back length for this to be a non issue. After a couple of hours sat in them, I'm as comfy at the end as at the beginning.

Upgrades: HID kit already fitted / end thread.

Probably two of the best cars I've ever owned on the drive at the moment.

Good find and performance pretty much matches that of the S (except top speed ) but likely with less drama in the wet

Good choice, I imagine my 208 steered you in the hot hatch direction?

You are quite correct - it feels very similar.

2 days in and that's a definite yes. I think the ride and the seats are the two things that would be the final straw for most people but I find it fine ... and the faster you go, the smoother it gets. Not much poke into 3 leptons but plenty where it's useful and with the gokart handling, it's massively entertaining - for the price point it's at. I'm fairly sure a Clio Sport or a Corsa VXR would be equally amusing but one is French and the other looks like it crashed through the Ripspeed catalogue.

200bhp IS enough.

These are top down days, though new toys always win. Get that hard top off the S and give it some
