Top Gear 2014
It looks like they've been reading this forum with regards to cycling. I particularly enjoyed the "Righteousness is no guarantee of safety." tagline.
An enjoyable show all in all.
Wit regards to aquaplaning, it was a surprise that the BMW went off and the Golf did not.

It's one of the reasons I got bored of BMWs holding me up in the Prelude in atrocious weather. Just don't lift off...
Some suicide merchant was trying to drive a Dumb Fortwo down flooded, off-camber roads last night - mass distribution occasionally 0/100. I blew the doors off it before it had chance to lose it in my direction of travel. Why do people use those outside Smoke?
I've done 160mph in the damp in my M135i and I've not died (or spun) yet. That was a lot of standing water though. Plus he'd been drifiting it and the Michelin Pilot Super Sports that are the OEM tyre choice aren't the best in the wet, although I've driven worse. Amazing dry weather grip though, close to Michelin Pilot Sport Cup grip levels, but more tread depth and better wet & cold grip.

I'm still drawn to an M135i next
Any car could have hydro planned in those circumstances
