We've all seen Stig caning it round the TG track but they only ever show footage from fixed points around the track and it gives a certain impression of the track layout.

I was quite suprised when I saw the below Ultima lap from the cockpit.

Hadn't realised there was a right hand kink prior to the first big left hander and that said left hander was actually not a 90 degree corner but more like 120 degrees; Not suprised the punters that go on struggle a bit with that corner.

Also hadnt realised that the VFast coner where they near miss the tyre wall was the same tyre wall right hander they go around earlier; Figure of 8 then.

Live and learn.

Do all Ultima GTR's have thier shifter on the right of the driver; Proper hardcore

Didn't the Ferrari FXX do a 1:10.7 or something?

I'm not sure how they defined it a a road car though as Ferrari wouldn't let you drive it anywhere other than a track!

The track is a lot longer when you see the unedited footage.

The FXX had slick tyres on, so as Scott said it got taken off the board. Much like the Caparo T1 did for being too low, as did the Renault F1 for not being road legal and a Harrier jump jet for not being a car

Have to admit I really don't like the Ultima GTR's. I don't mind the hardcore nature of them, they just look too home made for my liking. I get the impression the cabin was an after thought, and it makes the car look all out of proportions. Respect that the little car is as fast as it is though
