Default Torque Wrench

Just contemplating buying a torque wrench, and seen a couple in Hellfrauds but what is the most useful range? They do three - 8 to 60 Nm, 40 to 200 Nm, and a premium one that does 60 to 300 Nm.

Which one is going to be most useful? Do I need 300Nm and would the low range be an advantage? Your opinions welcomed please.

Serious post time.

I have a couple of wrenches. First one I bought was 60 to 300 Nm wrench and I found that it wasn't much good for most of the things I wanted it for ....... so I recently bought another whith a much lower range.

I now buy most things like this from screwfix.com ..... so much cheaper than Halfords.

Depends on what you are doing.

If you are considering doing the hub nuts then you need the 60 to 300.

Also don't forget, torque wrenches are only for tightening
