We even have lights now on several junctions of the M1 near Sheffield which they use during rush hour to hold cars on the sliproad before they join the motorway..!
I've noticed these popping up on the M4 and M40 or M42

Great - as if it wasn't bad enough with people unable to join the motorway and stopping at the end, now you have loads of cars stuck trying to get on!

That's a really sh1t idea. That basically means you'll end up with a load of people all joining at the same time and most of them won't be able to get up to speed in time so they'll be have even more problems merging into traffic. Which total f**k wit thought that was even a remotely a good idea :knuckleshuffle:

So there are no Evos, Scoobies, Nobles, TVRs, Marcos (I could go on) in your neck of the woods, Gaz?
No Evo's or Impreza's that have ever worried me. And no, not many proper sports cars around here either.

Hence the post.

Jim, I mentioned bikes...

How are you finding the Exige in traffic, mate?
Love it

It's no worse than the Evo in terms of the clutch, it's the visibility that can be an issue.

I used to find myself poking my head at funny angles to see thi lights in the S, but the Exige you might as well use "the force" with the way some traffic lights are positioned

Check for the lights reflecting off the drivers side wheel arch just above the headlamps. They usually do.

Bournemouth, what a dump these days. The town of my birth until in my late twenties I moved to Sussex in 1972.

Just spent today back in Poole/Bournemouth and as noted from the late sixties the entire place has been given over to blasted students, mostly foreign.
They were everywhere.
You try having a nice quiet coffee in a town centre cafe, the places are heaving with them, using the places as ad hoc refectories/college common rooms as they do their studying.
The only non-students I saw was in the very posh and so much nicer area, Canford Cliffs and Sandbanks.

Terrace house owners in entire suburbs such as Winton have sold up and let their properties to students. The properties are shabby and the roads cluttered with old bangers. Unless they are charity shops, or sell drink the local retailers are closing down.

Coming to a town or city near you but probably already has.

Yup, you got it.

It's a funny place at night too - a lot of very stuck up people who really aren't all that special...

I really wonder what the potential property crash will do to Bournemouth. A huge percentage are buy to let (many people owning several places) so hopefully some of the ****ers get stung

I've lived here for 16 years now and its changed a lot so god knows how you found it!

Anyway, back to lights...
