I spoke to my mum earlier, who said the Police could not find any grounds to apply a charge to the driver.

Surely it would constitute driving without due care and attention?

I don't know about this. If the driver knew something had happened they would have tried to have pulled over surely, or slowed down but they are in the outside lane without any traffic in the inside lane.....

I don't think they'd be able to see the car, i don't think a Clio on skinny tyres is going to slow an Artic down much. The odd thing is that there appears to be no damage to the Clio so quite how it got to where it was without the driver noticing is what puzzles me.

Im on an ADR course this week so I can drive a tanker etc
(for mot/paintshop stuff blah)

The training centre in Sheffield is shared with young lads
doing forklift training. I dont want to sound like 95% of
you lot on here but f**k me what chuffing low life, I guess
they are all unemployed and desire to work in a warehouse
or the like.

There are some full time drivers on the course and they are
all bitching about work/jobs/pay/etc. £9 hr seems good for
an 'artic' driver

Oh and sat up there in the cab I can imagine not been able
to see that Clio!

Russ.
