SLK55 AMG at the moment, really quite enjoing it for now. But there are too many cars out there to check out so i'll be moving on early next year, maybe into a TVR?

 

i thought the slk55 amg was more powerfull than it is

 

Its pretty low on power i guess at about 350bhp for a 5.5ltr V8. They must have forgot to put the super charger on. Having said that as the performance is basically the same as the SL55, i doubt benz would want to put the blower on it and make if seriously faster than the more expensive SL.

Make no mistake though, the SLK55 is seriously fast and unlike some other sports cars will pull relentlessly right upto its 155mph limiter.

Kleeman can put that back on and give you 560 BHP
Shame about the cost of it!

 

For that money, you could have a 400 BHP/tonne TVR AND pay for the engine rebuild...

 

560bhp would cost me £7k.
