Default TVR Tuscan (S) reliability

I had a drive in one of these last night and was stunned by it.

It was a Tuscan S..4.0 I think, stunning car, wonderful noise etc. etc.

You can get them for circa

Never driven one, but know people who have had TVRs and tuscans, they say its luck, you get a good one no probs get a bad one and its going make abig hole in your pocket all the time. trouble is there seem to be a lot of bad ones.

About a couple of years ago i went to look at a brand new tuscan, and the rear window wasnt sealed, there was a gap between the glass and the rubber sill that i could put me finger through!

Amazing style and noise though if you can afford it!

Even if you do get a good one, TVR servicing costs etc can be a little bit frightening

Great cars, absolutely the dogs, but like many a supercar, just because it is affordable to buy, it doesn't follow that it's affordable to run unfortunately.

And as a daily driver? Mmmmmmm.......nah!
