Default Two V5 registration documents

We bought a car recently for our daughter and sent off the V5 as usual. A few days later we received the new V5 and then the following day a second one arrived

The VIN number, car details, reg no etc are all the same but the document reference number is different. The second one does says 'duplicate document' in the special notes section.

Does this mean I can sell the car twice

And they charge you double for road tax. Especially if you drive a recent S2000

That's nothing, I've got 5 v 5s for my s because they kept on getting my details wrong. Address, name, it's astounding. If I can just remember which one is the right one!

I've still got a duplicate v5 for my CRX (sold 3 years ago) which I found recently as the DVLA did the same thing.

Any one want to buy a CRX?
