Default Tyre Advice

I need new tyres for my civic - the current tyres i have have the following details

205/55 16 91V

If I put my car into the kwik fit guide it states the spped rating as W, what is the difference and does it matter? Want to order my tyres online so need to order the right ones

Tyre speed ratings ca be found here http://www.blackcircles.com/general/speedrating

You should make sure you have he correct ones for the car - your insurance company may refuse to pay out if you were involved in an accident if they find you have the inccorect tyres on your car...

I suspect that your Civic should have W's and at some point in the past someone has put V's on (there may be a small price difference in favour of the lower rated tyre)...
