Can't see why all that info is needed. Don't need it for an insurance quote or an HPI check. Don't need it for checking the service details at a friendly dealer etc...
To clone a car all you really need is the make, model, reg and colour. If someone starts asking questions about a car when it's apparently the right colour and reg then they will soon spot the age, wear and tear and other differences never ming checking the VIN
