Vauxhall Corsa VXR
A friend had an Astra VXR and that was a really good, well built car. The only problem was the cornering, I'd push him hard into corners and the car's traction control would through a wobbly!
A car designed for boy racers; fast in a straight line with the looks of a chav mobile but lacks the ability of a true driver's car.

Maybe so, but in a time when manufacturers are falling over each other to stop making anything that even remotely resembles a fun car, I have a bit of a soft-spot for the way Vauxhall continually promote lairy versions of all their cars. I mean, a Zafira VXR is just an insane idea!

Vauxhall know their target market - daddy cool needs to go fast even with his 2.5 wailing kiddies in tow

Why on earth do you need a 200bhp people carrier for that?

But thats the thing, the advert with daddy cool shows him dropping off his ONE child driving through 30 zones.

But the uneducated will assume it's a fast car
It speaks volumes about the owner.

That might be a little unfair. I can imagine someone being forced into a people carrier by their other half regarding a Zafira VXR as not a bad compromise - given they have to have one, why not have one with a little poke?

I give anything with a Vauxhall badge a wide berth when on the roads.
You'd have to be a complete knob to drive one and this is generally reflected in the standard of driving you see from them.
VX220 excluded, but that's not really a Vauxhall is it.
