Very obviously a banker's bonus trinket; an allegedly über-premium lproduct, targeted at those with more money than obvious aesthetic taste.

This particular car was a 20th Anniversary edition built in 2009 and put into storage. It has covered 180Km from new. The original owner intended to set up a Wiesmann dealership in Singapore but the deal fell through.

You would need to see it in the flesh to appreciate the build quality. I'm sure a lot were bought by bankers with bonuses but equally a lot were bought by people who really appreciated the performance and handling. See my Nurburgring link in the previous post.
