[QUOTE=OldDogmeat,Feb 4 2009, 08:27 AM] So, getting back to the OP's original post (apologies for sidelining the thread) generally Don Palmer gets the biggest thumbs up by the sounds of it?

Very good day out today, shared the day with a guy in his RB320 on
semi slicks

Going back for some more soon after a track session at Elvington no
doubt.

I wont bore anyone with it anymore as its all old news to most but one
thing I cant get out of my head is what was said about a certain car
soon to end production!!!!!!!!!!!! Too strong to post on here

Russ.

Come on then what was it?

It's worth hearing if it's come from the likes of Don Palmer (and doesn't get distorted on the way here ).

(and, speaking personally again, one I have found much easier when driving a Caterham which provides greater feedback and is more forgiving near/on the limit).
Me too, the Caterham shouts where others whisper.

Great learning tool IMO

The Vulcan came out briefly from its hanger yesterday at Bruntingthorpe.
Wonder if its going to be 'saved' today.

That was a 5000 mile tyre only half worn, airfields
are pretty rough.
This is the rear, last time I did a track day in my
old Elise I wrecked the fronts understeering all
day.
