Default What would you have instead?

What would you drive instead of an S?? I honestly cannot think of a single car on the market that I would rather have that mirrors the S2000 i.e. 2 seater roadster, sub 30k....

I test drove a new 370Z last year and I liked it a lot, BUT it didn't have the razor sharp race car feel of the S...Is there anything out there that even gets close to the performance, feel and relative practicality of this car? I say no, but am open to suggestions.....

Cheers.

Elise SC.

Minus the electric roof it's got to be a contender.

350z roadster or an Exige. The 350z was first on my shopping list when I was looking for a car. I ended up buying the S2000 - no regrets

I'd go back to a boxster (sorry) but very happy with the S for now!

reliability aside, TVR would be high on my list, as would some form of lotus.

noble would be something I'd look into - not sure on availability or prices now noble have deceased though...

other than those 3 makes, no specific models come to mind so i don't honestly know!

hmm, I knew a lot of people would come back with 'Elise' but is it really as practical? I use my S as a daily driver, I really don't think I would use the Elise in the same manner....

I'd say yes. I think it's something you have to go and sit in and try.

Exige - no.
