Default Whats are they?

I have seen some strange looking items on a few cars recently.

I have seen what appears to be half of the bonnet covered in a black mat then 2 small long triangular bits spaced apart towards the end of the bonnet.

What the hell is it?, i guess its some sort of down force/front spoiler thing? - I did seem them on some "chav'ish" cars, so i guess they are the latest fashion fad?

Bonnet bra? For stopping stone chips. Not a fan personally.

No, they have two bits at the front towards the end of the bottom.

Seems you were correct mate.

I know you want to protect the bonnet from chips etc but it looks really really shat!

I seen one on a Clio182.

I'd say at least half of the cars I saw in Canada had these on them. Not a big fan myself, and can't really see the point, surely they must add a huge drag to the car.
