quite how a 1.3 Escort can be worth more nowadays is quite beyond me

I thought my 'Lude was a steal for five large a couple or three years ago. My, how times have moved on!

With the squirt hysteria going down, I can see there being some tearfully cheap heavy metal for those who can deal with the running costs.

I mean, new Kiaundai or a tidyish (not so) old M-car for the same money as a smoker/runabout. Silly not to, really.

I know the 328I of that year had trouble with the Nicasil coatings on the cylinders but I unsure if it affected the M3
