I just saw the above in an advert on this site, which suggests that you now get 3 points for parking on a yellow line - when did this come into effect?

I got 3 points when I was a young 'un for parking on a zig-zag line - fair enough, but I've always considered yellow lines fair game. It's a race between you and the parking wardens. Except they can't spit at you or call you scum when they lose.

But 3 fecking points!?

 

It isn't in effect for parking. It's probably for stopping in a box junction.
