My brother had this for the weekend and had a go in it yesterday, very quick. Noise is very agricultural too in the sport mode which opens the exhaust valves

He reckons it drives like a big S5000 as they really stiffened it up and address the turnin response compared to the boggo XKR.

Weirdly enough i was just looking at these on PH classifieds.

 

I think most people who got took out in it did too. Think there is one on Autotrader at moment, 81k!

It certainly gets attention in boy racer blue

 

This is old school british muscle i think

The downside is that launch vs the datsun they did on top gear but its a nice motor imho

 

Did you get many miles in it?
I was mildly interested in these.
Until I gate crashed the EVO group test with one in February.
None of us were too impressed
Build quailty and materials were shocking, especially the fake CF weave in the seats
Consensus was it was too expensive and the GTR was the car to have instead.

 

I test drove a 2012 XKR with the speed pack. Stunning looking car but disappointing drive. Very James Bondy, big thumbs up from the misses.

 

We have a lot of ex-lease ones of these at work that we are refurbing.
