*Slightly* Pulled Over at Chick-fil-A
Well. . .I was driving my a bit spirited this morning and as always, complete morons on the streets of New Bern conspired to ruin my morning of fun. I made a few (less than 3) quick lane changes and VTEC'd my way down an exit ramp to my ussual morning breakfast spot, the Chick-fil-A. Suddenly, as I'm waiting for the line of cars to advance from the drive thru menu, I hear a beep, then another beep and finally, a siren.
I lower my window, yes, no top down for me this morning, and I find that it's a black Nissan Pathfinder with a cop sitting inside. He shouts out to me, "What do I have to do to get you to slow down?" I reply, in my ever-so-smartass way, "Well, I dunno, add some blue lights to your ride."
Well, he of course found no humor in that. Realizing that the line had advanced and I need no further trouble, I laughed and apologized. The officer smirked and then asked, "Is this your car?"
I told him it was and he then asked that I stay safe.
Thought it was pretty funny, but I learned my lesson that I need to watch my driving (at times). While I don't feel that I drove recklessly, I know I was speeding and our S2000 makes lane changes look sudden.
Just thought I'd share.

Hehehehe, yeah, I was in a different mood, I guess.
I really knew the cop was wanting to lecture me more than anything. It's not like I'm a crack whore.
Well, at any rate.
Thinking back on it, yeah, it was a bit ballzy, but I had fun with it and in the end, the cop seemed equally amused.

Ahhhhh. . .so CLASSIC. I left that one all in the open too.
Such memories. Thanks Sheila. Have you devised a plan to get out of that wedding?
