Hi, Gang !

Well despite the ominous looking skies, I took a chance and drove up to VIR, for the VIR 400 Grand American Rolex Series race. It did not disappoint!!!

Unfortunately, the rainy weekend made for a rather muddy mess of the parking areas, as well as the camping areas. However, that did not deter the excellent racing on the course.

Those Daytona Prototypes will flat out FLY!!! Would I love to get behind the wheel of one of those. YES!!!! I could be 'slow' in one those too !!!

I will try to post some pictures...spread among a couple of posts.

This poor guy really didn't want to have to park his car in the mud!!!

I was gonna go for my birthday, but the nasty weather and $50 per head was a bit daunting. nice to see local races, but the weather and money dont help.

I gotta say, you should not have parked next to that Aston M. It made him look bad. The S lines are much better.
