Default 6-Point Cusco Roll Cage

I know a few Carolinas members have installed the Cusco roll bar and I was wondering if some of you would be willing to help with the install. The cage is missing 3 of the mounting plates (the two front ones for the cage points and one for the right rear point). These will need to be fab. or I'd haveta order them from Cusco. What I would like to do is install the full cage and drive home. Then uninstall the front cage part and reinstall it when I go to a track event. That way I'd always have the roll bar to drive around with and the cage as an option (probably a lot safer). Anyways, the cage should be arriving this weekend. Any interest anybody?

Still on campus at USC...

Yeah, I'd like someone there with experience with these roll bars since I will have to fab. some of the mounting brackets for under the car.... Come on, Greenville, NC isn't THAT far from Columbia, SC...

I have done some research and actually have seen first hand on another car that the cage hits and dents in the passenger's side dash. Something about the dashes not being perfectly symmetrical and it being design to fit left hand drive vehicles. But it can be installed. I have installed two four point bars, but I doubt the 6 point will be any harder. I am greenville SC, which I assume is pretty far away from you.

Use this:

I printed off that info and use it to do my 5-point by myself and to help youngbuck install his 6-point.

The front 2 points are a "peice of cake" once you get the rear 4 point in. The only tricky part is making sure you turn signal is not hitting the drivers side bar before drilling.

I won't be installing the front 2 points yet because the bottom brackets will have to be fab. and so will one of the rear brackets for the roll bar. the guy i bought it from just set the cage in the car without bolting it down (apparently it was mainly just for show). I've got some engineering buddies that i think could fab. those parts for me but I need demensions. I'll know more of what i'll need as soon as the cage arrives this weekend. I mapquested Greenville, SC and it said about 105 miles at 1 hour and 45minutes
