Default After given gas at idle bogs to low

Start car let her warm up... Then give it gas while sitting still and bogs down so low it almost shuts off but then goes back up and only when I give it gas it falls way down and come back to idle around 900 rpm also hooked up the oil pressure gauge and dam it dips real low like around 10 and it deffentily feels like it's struggling. Any ideas what the problems could be so I can try n fix this... Thanks in advance!!

fuel pump, fuel filter? sounds like a possible fuel system issue.

my car does this too. I tap the gas pedal at a stop and the idle will drop to 500rpms and then go back to 900rpms. Throttle cable already adjusted to 1/4in slack

idle control may need cleaning.

Sounds like a fueling issue? If you have a spare set of injectors (i.e. a friend's S2000 you can swap them over from) then swap your injectors over and see if it fixes the problem. If that doesn't work, maybe try the same swap technique with the coil packs.

Hold on Guys,

This is a common "issue" if you want to call it that. The car has a learning ECU and usually when the seasons change on the first couple of days that the weather is much different it is RE-learning.

Here is a thread on it https://www.s2ki.com/s2000/topic/386...-stalling-etc/ one of MANY!

Ooohhh guys please read through the DIY and information in the Under the Hood section, SHIT load of great info on the car

But I've never had this issue, and I've been through quite a few seasons.

Agree on that. I did happen to me like a week after getting the car. Resetting the ECU by the fuse or simply remove the negative terminal for a minute will reset the ecu. Then start the car with ac, radio, ect off and wait at least 7-10.

Try to find a graphing OBD2 reader and check that the TPS is smooth through its entire travel range. Check the MAP sensor reading as well.

The idle air control valve on the side of the intake manifold may be gunked up too. Billman has a how-to on how to clean it.
