Congrats -- as a recent (last year) father of the bride, I can give you some great advice ----- ELOPE!
Believe me, I'd just like to do that. We haven't even decided on a location yet, but we've been tossing around the "destination wedding" idea for some time.

We decided on a cruise wedding by far the easiest thing to plan. The hardest part is getting everyone to pay their deposit!

Not the car.

Just me.

On Friday, July 11th I proposed to my girlfriend Julie. I'm now entering the stressful and naustiatingly expensive era of wedding plans.

Wish me luck.

It will be fine as long as you remember one phrase.........Yes, honey whatever you want!

Congrats. My brother and my now sis-in-law had their wedding at Disney. That was a party right when I got off the bus to the hotel on the resort. It was freaking spectacular.

Again Congrats!

Congratulations!!! I always say the same thing... Another one bites the dust. At 4??? I have managed to avoid the situation but as an ex travel agent of 21 years I always said if I did it I would fly to an island. I traveled the caribbean alot and love it. On the agent trips they would take us to see alot of the different properties. I think I have seen just about all of the Sandals properties except 1 or 2 and they do a really good job. Just depends on what you are looking for. Best of luck!!!

Thanks Andy.

Funny story:
When I called her mother to get her blessing, we talked for a while. She mentioned that Julie has student loans, and I said that wasn't a problem. I told her we'd get them paid off, and that I could get rid of my car to free up some $$$. She immediately said, "DON'T GET RID OF YOUR CAR".

Even her family loves the S.

Of course, Julie says the same thing every time I talk about getting rid of it.
You have two winners there. How much better does it get? A beautiful bride and inlaws that love your car.

Who else here can say that?

Congrats
