Default Any Intersest in a Carolina Website?

I've got a long term contract for web hosting. I was doing the Tampa Bay Area S2000 website, but since I don't live there now, is there interest in me doing one for the Carolinas?

It isn't a forum or anything. It's more of an event listing and event photos type thing. I figured since I have the web space and and a current contract, that I might as well use the web space.

It would be something similar to http://tbas2k.com/.

Since I plan on doing the VA border run this weekend, and the Quaker Steak dinner next, as well as a Dragon run next week, that would be a good start to the site.

Is there currently any website for the Carolinas that has photos and events? Is there an interest for one?

If not, no biggie. I'll just keep the Tampa stuff up and start putting up personal stuff for my family to view and move away from the S2K stuff.

Kind offer to the community, but I'm afraid you're too late!

That's cool. How often is it updated? I don't see the Quaker Steak Dinner or the VA/NC drive up on the events section. Also, I can't find the photos section. Are the photos contained in the forum posts?

The reason that event isn't listed is because no one from that area posted. If we had more ACTIVE members on the site, it would be much better. As for the photos, some of the links at the top are still under construction but will be up soon... just need active people to post more content. The Atlanta owners are always on thier local board.

Mulder is right. We have a small group of active people on the carolinas board, but all in all, it has been gaining steam very slowly. If you look at the member list, you are the first new user in almost a month, LOL. More usage means more updates by BlueIon and myself. The only way to make sure I don't forget to update the events calendar is to send me a PM on here or s2kcarolinas.com with a link to the info and tell me you would like it added to the calendar. I generally add most things I run across, especially if it is posted on s2kcarolinas, but sometimes it slips my mind. I would like that to be a useful scheduling resource so I do want it to be up to date. It only takes me a second to throw stuff up there. I will go throw the border run on there right now...
