I have watched it from the first episode. Looks like a winner. It must be because this is the only network show I have consistently watched in years.

The island pictured in the shots of the backyard and pool area. Is that Wrightsville or Topsail?

That was Wrightsville Beach. They've changed the pictures on the web site and that one is no longer there. Most of the locations are in downtown Wilmy and the Intracoastal Waterway.

My personal favorite pic.

Unfortunately the Mamalia Giganticus is almost always tightly bound in restricted quarters during the program. This is a rare photo revealing its true form.

I'm TiVo-ing this now after a SCCA friend took me around his Marina where the "Surface" folks are filming.

Look for shots around Anchors Away Marina (on the Waterway near Topsail) soon. Apparently it's their hideout from the Fed's and the episode will be out in a few weeks. I watched the filming for a while...just alot of waiting followed by 20seconds of shooting.. He helped them obtain old crappy ships & stuff and helped build them a diving bell that looks suspiciously like a big rusty water tank to me.

I did catch last weeks show and noticed the shots of Downtown Wilmy.....any more recognizable locales? Unfortunately, I'm a few episodes late.

Oh yea...and Lake BeLL is HOT! I'd describe her as very umm...." Firm".

OH Man! You missed the episode that showed the new species in the Cape Fear River right in front of the community college. There were also some scenes with Wrightsville Beach in the background.

I've offered the studio rights to film at our pier and house provided the Mamilia Giganticus is free to roam around.

They're considering it.
