Anyone have an extra set of wheels?
In the next few weeks, I'm looking to get some new tires. I figured it would also be a good opportunity to get my stock AP2V1 rims powdercoated so I don't have to pay again for mounting/balancing tires in the future.
I spoke with Import Motor Werks and they told me it's possible to get them powdercoated next door at Carolina Custom Powder during my tire installation. However, this would take about 4-5 days, which is going to be a logistical nightmare for me if I don't have a car available.
So, I was wondering if anyone here had an extra beater/spare set of OEM S2000 wheels (or really, anything else can fit), and if I could possibly put them on my S for a few days. That way, I'd be able to drive the S and not have to worry about being car-less. I'd be willing to leave some kind of deposit/collateral, as well as all my information, so you don't think I'm stealing your wheels.
Anyway, it's kind of a shot in the dark, but figured I'd ask anyway. Let me know if you can help me out. Thanks!
EDIT: I'm in Raleigh.

What did they quote you?
I got quoted like $280 for all 4 by a local place but that was a sale price. I think reg was $320

i forgot the exact quote but i wanna say it was more than $100 a wheel, it has been awhile though so my memory is really foggy. just remember it being something I thought I could find a lot cheaper somewhere else
