If it were some other time I would sign up, this event would cut in to my WTD money and WTD trumps all other events in April for me.

I'll bring my helmet and a broom stick to the next Brier Creek meet and show y'all how to pass that test.

I'm in to see how to pass this. I had my gf out in the garage with a broom and I could not for the life of me figure out how to make it happen. I'm 5'11" and I tried all seating positions and tried slouching techniques and I still needed to find about 2"

Interested, but I can't beat the broomstick rule either. How about if I use my Factory Hardtop? There is no mention of HT's above.....

FWIW, Honda Factory HT's are approved for S2K's at SCCA PDX events & NASA rules are known to be a bit more liberal.

Hey VFROOM, do you happen to know if VIR allows for Factory hard top instead of roll bar? My guess is no, they seem like sticklers.

No VIR does not count the OEM hardtop as a replacement for a roll bar. It is made of aluminum and it has no structural features at all.

I figured as much... I hate having to weigh my desire to track my car against my unwillingness to cut up my interior.
