I'm trying to find out if anybody is interested in renting the skid pad at Carolina Motorsports Park in Kershaw/Camden, SC area (about an hour or so away from Charlotte and likewise for Columbia, SC).

If enough people are interested, this could be a great way to split the cost for the skidpad, which rents at $75/$100 per hr, $300/$400 per half day, and $500/$650 per full day. The lesser price is for a dry track and the higher price is for wet.

I think this would be a great opportunity to have some fun, get to know our cars' limits in a safe environment, and meet some kindred spirits.

It would be really cool, esp on a wet skidpad. But not now that my tires are brand new. Maybe by the time this is organized I'll need new tires.
