Default Anyone patch their top in the triangle area?

Even though I had noticed the wear spots and seen the pinholes begin to form I was still lazy and didn't do anything about it. First I put some duct tape on the inside of the top when it was just pinholes, but now the driver's side has the typical wear hole and I can probably fit a nickel through there.

I am not putting the top down again at this point until this is fixed.

I've seen the standard fix with a large piece of vinyl glued in to that area, has anyone had it done around here? I could probably do it myself being the industrious guy that I am, just need to figure out the best adhesive and the best material to use.

I used Automotive Amazing Goop with some material from those fold-out concert chairs to patch my top. It's been holding up for about a year now.

I am interested in what everyone suggests for patches as well. I can see on the inside of my top that it is starting to wear. There are no holes yet, but I want to catch them before they start.

After washing my car on Tuesday, I looked back at my pass side part of the top. A nice rip going down the center.... Now I have 3 patches in my top...

Mine's definitely not the prettiest job. I just patched the areas that were showing wear. So far things have held up. (crosses fingers)

Honda sells patch material. they can tell you what adhesive works best. procedure for this is in the official shop manual. it's nice having one of those manuals.
