ATT: Charlotte Peeps
I know...I know...I've shared that I'd be in Charlotte before...but this time is FOR REAL!!! 
I'll be in Charlotte on Monday night and leaving Wednesday afternoon. Unfortunately, Tuesday night has been planned for a Bobcat Arena function and the Charlotte Checkers. Ugh!
So...if we want to meet up, I'm thinking Monday night would be most excellent.
I plan to leave New Bern around 1pm...so that should have me in Charlotte around 5:30ish or so.
Who's up for a bite to eat? You "guys" (and gals) choose the coolest places, so please do the honor.

I will be taking a vacation day that day to get my Accord's windows redone. I would love to meet up. Let me know time and place.
Being the newby I have no idea yet of great places to eat. I do know of Village tavern and that BBq place we went to over the holidays. Anything though is fine with me.

Oh...and it's weird...but I'm staying at the Marriott Residence Inn on Monday night (5816 Westpark Dr) and then the Hilton on Tuesday night (5624 Westpark Dr). Ugh!

Count me in...I can probably make it down there by 6:30 (or so).
RaulRaul...if you had a TomTom (or other GPS), then you wouldn't have to worry about directions...that are hard to follow while you are supposed to be paying attention to your driving !! Keep working on Anna for that birthday present.

Raul, Village Tavern is right next to the Hilton, so it's very convenient for "both" of your hotels.
It's a little hard to find, though. It's actually INSIDE a large office building, with no external signage on the street, so if anyone has trouble finding it, just give me a call. (704) 661-0704.
Ron and I will be there right after work (6:00), so join us as close to that time as you can. Post here if you plan to show, so I'll know how big a table to get for us.
Look forward to seeing everyone, and welcoming airgate to the Queen City!

The building is called the Rotunda Building, and it's right on the corner of Barclay Downs and Carnegie Blvd. There are big fountains running down the walls that face Barclay Downs. Village Tavern is on the ground floor. There's a parking garage, but I usually park out front. It's a popular place though, so there's not a lot of opportunity for "group" parking. So....the earlier you're there, the better!
