There's an autocross Saturday at the SC State Fairgrounds in Columbia.

Driver's Meeting 10:30 AM
1st Car Out 11:00 AM

Cost: $25 for non-SCCA members. Spectators free

Directions
From Columbia: Go South on Assembly Street. Turn right on SC 48, then left at the next light. Gate 10 will be on your left.

From I-77: Take the Bluff Road exit. Follow the signs for Williams Brice Stadium/Fairgrounds. Gate 10 will be on your right.

I'll be the blue s2k running as #40 in B-Stock. Stop by and say hi if you come out.

If you enter the event as a Novice, you'll run with your 'normal' group. So, you'll enter as BSN (B-Stock Novice) and take your runs with the other BS'ers! I'm assuming you haven't done any mods that would bump you out of stock class. If you have any questions or need to borrow tools/air/etc, just yell.

Brian, I would honestly recommend not driving in the novice class... Believe it or not, there's some not-so-novice folks running in that group which means (PAX-wise) you probably would have a better chance trying to keep up with some of us (definitely me) in BS... also, when the times are posted on the website, you'll still get your PAX score either way so you can compare yourself to the novices if you'd like. Obviously it's your decision. I just don't see any benefit in running as a novice. I think you'd be better off running in the same group as us so that you can talk to the folks around you and get some better advice...

Anyway, just my 2 cents... you can take them or leave 'em...

The PAX for B-Stock is pretty rough -- 0.825. Just look at the results from the last event. The fastest raw time in novice ended up in 7th due to his car's high PAX.
