Default AVP, the movie

Anna and I are off to see AVP (Alien vs. Predator). I'll share our thoughts after the show. Has anyone else seen this yet?

It wasn't that bad. We sat thru the entire movie. It was not nearly as *scary* as I thought it would/could be. It was cool to see the Alien in much more action than other Alien films. I'm a fan of the Alien series, so I owed it to myself to view this film.

The only thing I did not care for was the beginning, way too much like Jurassic Park. The promise by some large company to fund expeditions and the like for "expert" folks to attend this "event." Not a terrible plot, but somewhat, in the most bizarre way, makes some sense.

Again, not awesome, but I don't regret the 2hrs. to see it.
