Default Barn Raising in Denver NC

A racing buddy of mine is building a barn in Denver NC tomorrow (and likely for the foreseeable weekends). If anyone out there has ever said to them self, "Gee, I wish I could attend a barn-raising party," then here's your chance! If you're interested send me a PM, and I'll see if I can get you on the guest list.

LOL! This is the most out-of-left-field invitation I think I've ever seen.

Are we talkin' Amish style with ropes and pulleys and 30 dudes with beards? Or redneck style with chains and trucks and questionable decisions made over a case of beer?

It certainly sounds interesting - time and place or is it private?

If ropes and pulleys are involved, is there any way we can hook them to the cars?

If I wasn't in NJ I'd be all over this.

There's no telling how he plans to do it...could go either way (minus the beards). I'm sure machines (trucks/tractors/back-hoes/cranes/etc.) will be used whenever reasonable and available. I know he has a large diesel tow vehicle. I'm not sure the "torque-less wonder" is up to task.

I don't think it's private, but I'm not sure he wants his address posted all over the interweb either. If you're interested, PM and I'll let you know.

We'll save a few sacks of concrete for Stephen to mix, so he doesn't feel too neglected.

We set 10 side posts this past Saturday and mixed 60 bags of concrete. The corners were done the week before, so that stage is done.

Truss me, next weekend is going to be even more fun...if the rain ever stops.

I like to think of it as a clue.
