I was just curious what everyone else uses on their S.

I use the following:

Zaino Z2 Plus accelerator
Zaino quick detail spray
Mcguires Gold Class car wash
Tire Wet
Clearvue for windshields inside and out
Three different colored microfabic towels:
One for washing and drying
One for windshield
One for Zaino
Plexus for inside of back windshield (I have an '01)
Z2 for for outside of windshield
Leather conditioner
Use a damp rag for getting dust off the inside
Use Gunk Engine Cleaner for my Mugen Exhaust
Brush, toothbrush, and shop rags for wheels and exhaust
Several different wheel cleaners
Portable Vac.

Things I avoid:
Regular Wax
Armor All
RainX (Seen it take the paint off other cars)

Anyone have any recommendations for must have car cleaning accessories?

Whew~! You wore me out just reading all of your list!

303 for interior & top.

California Duster.....a Berlina Black " Must Have". Not sure if other colors would require it.

For my first wash and wax I am trying the Meguiars NXT. You guys are going to have to convince me in person that the Zanio is worthy of the extra effort that I read about.

I haven't found 303 yet. There is a West Marine store near my home. I will look for it there tomorrow. I am a little preoccupied with the preservation of the convertible top. Since it will be garaged for 99% of its life, I don't want to over treat it with product.

How about a Clay Bar. I like Clay Magic (blue bar).

I would also recommend 303 for the top and interior. Good stuff.

A garden hose and some soap is a good start.

I will give it a shot. I have to admit I haven't been doing a lot to maintain the top. I have had mine just over 3 years and have 27000 miles on it so it stays in the garage a lot. I probably need to work on maintaining the top.

I am THOROUGHLY enjoying my new S, was going to wax her last weekend, but decided not to when the water beaded well after the first wash.

The wheels are another issue. Lots of brake dust up front. I am glad to hear Simple Green works to help get the dust off, I have been using alcohol with good results too.

Is there anything I can do to help keep the brake dust from accumulating on the wheels?

What about a preferred bug/tar remover?
