Anybody use the ARC induction box? I have been considering one but I have heard mix opinions on it. Some say it gets to hot others say to much room. I also thought about ITB's but after researching it the price is not worth the output. Anyone using them?
Hell, if you really want to do the ARC intake, I'd be willing to sell mine with the intake chamber if you would want that too.

I would say in the neighborhood of 475-500. I bought both items from Evasive Motorsports. Here's the link to both:

Induction Box: ARC Induction Box

Intake Chamber: ARC Intake Chamber

Both are still in excellent condition and I will be more than happy to send you pics.

I have heard where a significant number of people dislike the K&N filter. Is there any reason for this besides personal preference?

Spoon snorkel with Spoon air filter if your gonna throw around ARC kind of $$$ IMO. Nowhere near the bling factor, of course, but def. better airflow and filtering and more constant, cool air will enter your intake manifold and therefore your engine...

If not, just stick with a top brand, non-JDM, cool air intake system IMO. I had an Injen CAI on mine with GREAT sound and had no problems!

Most people complain about it because..

1) its an oiled filter so they feel as if they are sucking oil into their intake manifold
2) it lets more air into the engine so obviously a little more dirt may enter (but thats the point of the oil, to keep dirt out)
