hoping for even more next year...THAT MEANS YOU ERIC! That vette (which was an 01 Z06 w/ i/h/e) was putting down 7 second faster times that me! Diaz, the owner, knows his shit and has been to CMP 7-8 times. Yeah, dude's quick.

 

I think an S2000 would have to go FI to keep up with a Z06. Every time I caught up with one in the corners yesterday he pulled away in the straights.

Get you a cage eric...you got some vettes to pwn

 

Its a work in progress and probably won't be done until end of winter as we are talking about $1800 in seats, $600 in harnesses(5 point), $500 brakes rotors and pads, and about close to $1500-1800 for a cage. I want a custom cage that has X-braces on both pass and drvr sides that are hinged and open! If I am gonna do it then I am going big, Also once I get the cage in thats it for the car there is no going back as the cage HAS to go through the dash!

P.S. Those vettes will hate me cause I will put a hitch on my car and come with a small trailer with my tools and extra parts, track set of wheels(Rcomp Toyo R888) and some amenities. Brett you know when I do it I go all out

Had a fun time at cmp! minus cracking a rotor per day at cmp its a fun track that allows confident drivers to catch high hp cars in 3, 4, and 10.. Love those turns

Of course, I will just have to learn the lines and get myblock of instructions from the instructor and eat up some cornersand rubber along the way. But you know you will have to be behind me to see if you can keep up easily or not.
