Well my wife told me that I could have $1000 of our tax return as play money for the s2k! I know right? So many choices, so little time! I really don't care 2 much about body mods... I love the look of the factory body lines... Don't need wheels... I was thinkin about a limited slip, ar a super diff... Any power adders would be nice... If u guys have any suggestions or ideas let me know, and perhaps where the best place 2 get them is?

i put an aem v2 and an invidia 70 dual catback on over the weekend and the invidia 70mm test pipe i had already done. i would say thats the way to go, according to the butt dyno i feel an improvement and can def see an improvement in how much better it breathes up top in the vtec range. its loud but it makes the car 10 times more fun to drive

 

4.44 gear installed would be somewhere in the $1000 range. www.hardtopguy.com can hook you up, give Jeff a call.

If its noise with little performance gain you want then I recommend intake and exhause. Youtube is a good place to get an idea of sound. Once again, intakes tend to dyno only 3-9hp, exhause is worth 3-7hp depending on how loud you want it. Don't expect the hp to stack ( intake 9 hp + exhaust 7 hp = 16hp ) it doesn't work like that.



Seriously, go for gears if you want to be noticed for performance...

Go for exhaust and intake if you want to be notice for sound.

Its a must on the S2000.

I am wanting to stick with stock. I will sell you my limited slip for $800 + your stock diff. assuming your diff is in good working order.

I'll sell him my LS for $400 exchanged for his diff, and do the swap for him!

I'll even have the job finished while he is running to the store for Beer

What he said . And I am all stock and keeping it that way. But for the money gears seem to be the best money spent. It "will" make the car quicker. You will have a higher RPM on the highway, so if you do a lot of DD you need to think about it but for the money that is probably the best bang for the buck.

OOh just a thought...the best mod for this car is a AutoX or driving school. The best mod for this car is the driver.
