BIT THE BULLET!
right now i will have to settle for how it comes unless something isn't right when i go to the dyno. i don't think that their box is tunable. not sure? if i make 300 on the dyno and the afr is correct, then i'll be happy. not going for big numbers. just a 100 more. i can do alot with 100 more in the hills.
Yves you do have some adjustment with the rising rate fuel pressure regulator. If you get on the dyno and feel the A/F curve is too lean, loosen the lock nut on the top of the FPR and screw in the adjustment screw. This will raise fuel pressure and richen up the mix. Conversely, loosen up the adjustment screw to lean out the mix if its too rich.
yeah i had read that in the instructions for tuning. hopefully or should i say luckily i hope its right the first time. i think i'm still ordering a clutch just in case. i'm sure i will eventually need one. going to dyno today. will post results later today.
Don't be afraid to make adjustments to the FPR; that's why its adjustable and its best to sort it properly while on the dyno.
Also remember that if you still have a cat on the car and the dyno operator uses a tailpipe sniffer to report his AFR, then the numbers you see will be a bit leaner than what a proper wideband bung would show. So don't be afraid of 13's on your AFR. Cats can lean out a mix by 0.5-1.0 points. When I was stage 1 I had a Berk HFC and saw *low* 13's under WOT at the dyno from the tailpipe sniffer.
