BIT THE BULLET!
well had it dynoed. good and the bad. the good= afrs and good so the tune is okay. bad= at 8500 it made 5lbs boost. hp=262 torque=163. on a good note, it is a definite improvement on the way it runs and accelerates. not the hp numbers I was hopeing for but theres always room for improvement down the road. the guy at the dyno shop said probably at 9g it would make 270hp. so my gains were roughly 60 hp. from 203 to 262 and torque from127 to 163. the dyno was a dyno-jet and it was 90+ degrees. so i'm not really disappointed cause the car runs great! just would have like to see 300 even on hp. oh well at least my gas mileage won't suck ass lol. the oem clutch held well on the dyno so hopefully it will last a while longer. when I get a clutch I will install a light weight flywheel. as for now i'm content with my efforts. besides 262hp is great for 5lbs of boost on a engine with 232k miles on it. compressions a month ago were 200 to 210. going for a drive Saturday after c&c. anyone is welcome to go with me if they like.
Those are still good numbers man, its hot and humid as balls out right now which kill boost and power. That'll be in the 280's in the winter I'm sure. You know its still tons of fun though!!!
Definitely come up to C&C in Charlotte next weekend. I'll be there this month finally as there isn't an autox.

yeah i can't wait till this weekend to go drive. i talk to sos last night and they said it seems as if everything is on par. but i did notice on thier web site that you can get varios size pullies. mine came with a 4.8 inch which produces 6psi at9g. they have a 4.6 which produces 7psi. my question to them today will be can i run that pulley at 7 with the same set up and if need be tweak the fuel pressure? if so a 7psi would get me closer to 280 to290 hopefully. what do you think coolguy? would i be thinking corretly on this?

The best thing you can do for yourself is to buy an AFR gauge. If you don't already have a boost gauge, I highly recommend the AEM Wideband Failsafe gauge. It is a single gauge that shows both boost and AFR on the same unit, it comes with the wideband sensor, and it has internal datalogging capabilities that are awesome. With this one gauge you could easily street tune your own car and avoid having to go back to a dyno/tuner any time you feel an adjustment is necessary. Also it is a lot safer to be able to monitor your AFR's at all times rather than relying on everything to stay consistent between dyno visits, because in the world of FI nothing ever stays consistent. I love my AEM WBFS gauge and I used it several times to street tune my car when I was stage 1. I still prefer its datalogging versus my Haltech ECU if I'm just looking for an AFR curve. Even if you do already have a boost gauge, sell it and buy this AEM unit, lol.
This is REALLY what you should do, lol. I run the 3.2 pulley now and its pretty radical the difference that another 100 WHP makes.
thanks for the info guys. its really helping me with this. definatly will be buying a afr gauge. i like the idea of being able to monitor it and make adjustments myself if need be. i'll hold off on the pulley right yet and get the gauge.
i'll bring my dyno sheets with me to c&c next weekend so you can check it out. its funny cause it still hasn't sunk in yet that i'm running boost now lol.

It's loads of fun
