I passed an abandoned black S2000 on eastbound I-485 in Charlotte this morning near South Boulevard -- looked to be OK as of 11AM, other than an accumulation of snow.

 

Sounds sad. . . Hope everything is alright!

 

That section of I-485 has been particularly nasty lately. That's the same area the road rage wreck last week happened that backed traffic up to I-77.
Also some very nasty fender benders during the holiday rush.
I may drive by to see if the black S2k is still safe....being house-bound is driving me stir crazy

 

Sorry -- I got that backwards -- it was on WESTbound I-485 on Thursday midday. It looked to be gone when I came home at 5PM on Thursday (was on the other Eastbound side of the raod and so not was able to scan the Westbound side very well) and was definitely gone Friday at noon when I returned. Looks as if the owner picked it up on Thursday afternoon when things began to get better -- major roads were OK, but side roads and driveways were still a handful.

I-485 was in much worse shape than I-77 on Thursday.
