Who can join? This is open to all cars.

We will meet at the Ingles in Arden (just south of Asheville). Please arrive with a minimum of 3/4 of a tank of fuel. Once we are the Parkway there will be no place for fuel. This will give us plenty of parking and easy out to stay as a group. From here it is a short distance until we arrive at the Blue Ridge Parkway.




I am looking at 3 stops along the parkway for photos, leg stretch. At least one of the stops will have bathroom facilities.



We will be driving within the legal limits, however there are many tunnels to have some fun in.


We should arrive in Cherokee for lunch about noon or a little after. We will have lunch at Granny's Kitchen. This is a family favorite.

After lunch everyone is on their own. You can go back cia the Parkway, hit the Casino, visit Maggie Valley, drive to the Great Smokey Mt NP, make your way back the more direct route, or even zipping over to hit the Tail of the Dragon.

This is the weekend of my wedding anniversary, so I'm going to have to convince the wife to come... Maybe I can work in a visit to Biltmore afterwords or something to keep her interest, lol. I'll let you know G.
