Thumbs up Calling all S2K tech!HELP

It just happen two days ago. While driving back to Camp Lejuene my '00 S (55,000) was doing fine. But stoping by the gas station along the way to piss(didn't fill the gas or anything) while restarting my car back up, i noticed a slight difference. My car was shaking and the rpm was very low like one bar/two bar. After that i drove for like 3 miles or so to a stop light stepping on the clutch, instead of the RPM dropping to 800-1000 it just sank all the way down to the bottom and my car just died. I was about ten miles away from camp so i drove all the way to the barracks, but along the way it died at every stoplight. I had to restart every single time at a stoplight. The CheckEngine Light didn't even come on! So can't take it to auto zone to read code.

Don't know whats going on with my car. I take good care of this car. Oil change every 4000 miles, etc. I did the following thing.

I check the Oil. good

Spark plug. good

Intake filter. good

I'm thinking its something electrical, but took it to make a appointment(not til thursday) at Lejuene Honda in Jacksonville, NC. Just asking anyone who has incounter similar problems before i lose an arm and a leg at honda. Any Help is thank ahead of time.

Sounds like your MAP sensor. If not, someone will correct me.

See the little black box on top of the throttle body near the black rubber end of the intake? Just take a screwdriver and give it a whack with the handle. I've heard that this will cure the rough idle. I also think there may be a TSB for the MAP sensor. Hope this helps.

I'm not exactly sure what the problem with your car is, but I work on Camp Lejeune. So if you wanna stop by I'll be at the base library till 7pm.

Edit: I'm not sure if you can make it that far, but If you are gonna take it to a dealership, I would recomend Coastal Carolina Honda in New Bern. Ask for Jody, he has worked on my car and I believe he has done alot of work on Airgate's car as well.

Also, if you wanna try what Rajun suggested, we can take off my map sensor and test it on your car to see if that is the problem....just bring the proper tools to do the job.
