I saw this earlier and thought it would be something unique to bring to the Carolina Forums. Basically sharing any pictures from the time you purchased your S till now and anything in between (different cars, different mods, etc!) Give everyone a chance to see where your car started and how it looks now, also allow everyone to keep up with the former members (that haved moved on from the S) and what they are currently driving.


2003- First AP1- Sebring Silver. No pics of the car because i really didnt do anything to it.

2004-Second AP1- Sebring Silver (2003). This is the first car the mod bug hit me with.

Purchased bone stock. Drove around that way for 6 months before purchasing Roja Formula 5's, few months later adding GP Sports Sides and Rear.

Drove with this setup for a year and meet Tyler (RWD_HONDA) while selling my Roja Formula 5's. His car was more aggresive( Kit, lowered, Carbon Fiber, etc):



loved the setup he had and slowly started watching more Best Motoring, Option, etc videos. Around the same time my daily (Honda Del Sol) got wrecked by my best friend on the way to the store no more than a block from my house:




Of course it was totaled out. My friend stayed in the hospital for a few hours and was released. He was released from the hospital with the only real damage being a chip tooth and he is (250-260 pounds) drivers side door was sitting flush with the middle console. T-Boned by a van trying to speed across a crossroad with traffic coming.


This lead to my next setup which was a complete overhaul (Car stayed in the shop for a little over year): Car went to the body shop, parts from Japan ordered, JDM Premium White Pearl Paint chosen.

Hardtop Installed late Friday night before MSBM (06) on Saturday. Great meet, probably one of the best times i have ever had in my life! Great people, fun, fun and more fun! Go kart, crusing, sites, everything. The body shop didnt have the car ready to meet the deadline i had set close to a year previous of having it ready for MSBM 06. Drove there with no interior, no ac, only one of the 2 windows rolled down, and one speaker installed. It was hell in the heat!

Kept that setup for a few months then changed again. This time ordering Ings +1 front with canards. Selling the CR Kai and picking up the Spoon Race Wheels (Spoon Race Car #95) 16 inch Gold Forged Work Emotions with Advan A048 tires.

I kept them for 6 to 8 months then sold them and got CE-28s:








Purchased Bride Seats- and a few more goodies from Evasive Motorsports.




Then i made the biggest mistake by selling the S and buying a Supra. It was my dream car, and it was a plunge i took and regret.

Added a Single Turbo Upgrade and Tune got this:




Enjoyed the power and the car but found myself missing the S and the community (everyone on S2KI).


Drove to Richmond, VA sold the car and found 01 Silverstone with Hardtop:

Brings me to current! Hopefully you guys wont be disappointed when the car returns!

Sold the D2's and a few other parts. Parts ordered and will have a new look for 09!

PERSONALLY..... Supra>S2k
I have wanted an supra since I was 14 by time I can afford one they will be way to old to get though

 

Thats what i went off at the time. I was like clean stock body Supra, but the Supra and S2000 are two completely different cars and i found myself missing the go-kart like handling of the S. Theres alot to be said about the S just from the time you push the engine start button its an experience.

I LOVE Supras also!! But I guess you never know which you will like better until you try them both.

I knew you sold the D2s... What wheels are going on next?

I will post my car from start to finish this weekend!

Back on topic: My first car was an 81 toyota celica -- it came complete with a bungee cord on the trunk -- I liked to think of it as an active spoiler. Unfortunately I do not have any pictures of that beautiful beast.

after the celica I purchased a white 86 RX-7.. Car was pretty fast, but died not too long after I got it due to overheating issues.

next came my 91 mr2 (my 2nd fav car to my new s2000)

After the mr2 I've had basic cars such as civics and accords, but Now I'm sporting a 2007 S2000

and the way it sits now

 

Here are a few of mine.

I bought it in May of this year bone stock. Only thing I had done to it in this picture is paint the calipers. They were eaten up with rust, so I wire scrubbed the rust off and used caliper paint.




I drove it like this for a month or so then the mod bug got me!!

I started small, Ricks badges, black chrome "s2000" emblems, smocked sides etc...
Then I got some Rota D2s (they seem popular!) and put on drilled and slotted rotors.





Then i came across a great deal on a greddy turbo and couldn't pass it up. added a aut cooling plate and Invidia V4 exhaust and some other little odds and ends, and it brings me to now. I have a set of Eibach springs mounted on AP1 shocks I plan to mount this weekend. I will post a pick up after I get those on.

 

I want those fricken spoon emotions! any idea where they are now?
